By far the richest and most fertile lands, this massive expanse of forested mountains has been jealously guarded by the up to three herds that have existed in one form or another for generations. The land is practically untouched by the drought that has crippled most of the country, and could likely be a haven for many more equines if the herds so chose. Alas, they do not. The bulk of the land is the foothills around the valley lake, and all of the herds share this space amongst themselves as they will not with others.
